Breno Fernandes's Page

Breno Fernandes born in São Caetano do Sul and was raised in Mauá and Santo André at the same time, and sometimes on the farm when his father with the family was visiting their hometown.

At an early age Breno began to play a lot of toy guitar. Because Breno’s dedication, his father gave to him a real instrument, a Tonante acoustic guitar. After he started to play others instruments like bass, piano and percussion.

At the age 15, he started to play in his first band. At some skate sessions he had known two guys with the same musical interest. Soon they were forming a punk hardcore band. Unfortunately as all the teenager’s bands, it broke up. Since then, Breno had played in a lot of bands - the alternative hardcore band: Sanplace; an indie emo rock band: Coffee Cups; a bossa rock band: Rinoceronte; and an alternative rock band: Fantastique - but all of them broke up too.

After some events, he left to play, but with strong spiritual conviction and a new beginning, Breno began his pursuit to be a singer-songwriter. There’s a calm, emotional and strong quality in his voice and sound at the same time. He sings about a love that renews, heals and delivers a new life. For a while he recorded at home two songs, a demo called "ensolarado", and bit-by-bit he is recording a new stuff. His songs talk about a freedom that him experimented and wants to share with all the people. A new EP coming soon.
