Hi Warren! Great stuff :) I suggest 30 second "tasters" and links to where the music can be bought (like iTunes, CDbaby, our own websites etc)
Hi Warren,
Some of the things you mentioned all ready sound good. I would think the biggest hurdle would be how to do the finances. Since people are all over the world, it seems like sending interested people straight to the musicians websites and have them take care of it would be the easiest way to get the money to them. And they would be the ones mailing out the product. However, probably not everyone has a website where they sell stuff. In the US you can use CDBaby or something else. I'm sure you'll figure out the best way.
Blessings,
Karen
PayPal would work.
Yeah. I am with Ellen on this ... Thanks for taking initiative in this.
great!!! yeah links are good. :)
How would you like it organised?

One big list? Who would go on top? Latest release? Alphabetical?

Categorised into Genres? Categorised by nation?

How would someone find what they like? ie. if they love country and don't like metal? If they just want worship?
Hey Warren,
First of, great work friend!
About the organizing,
I think Latest release should go on the top cause that way it would be easier to know what's happening right now, and people wouldn't have to search through big lists of music for a good song.
Secondly,I think Categorized into Genres would be a better choice cause that would also solve the third question (How would someone find what they like? ie. if they love country and don't like metal? If they just want worship?). Also it would be simpler to organize the song inside the Genre's alphabetically.
One Genre or 2-3 choices per artist/album?

I meant like having all the albums of country under the country genre, how would the ''2-3 choices per artist/album'' be?
Some artists find it hard to define their genre.. we could could easily 'tag' them with 2-3 genre options. Or duplicate the album into 2-3 different categories.. like a 'country worship' album could be in the 'country' and 'worship' categories. Is this going overboard.. should it be limited to just one genre?

No, It's not going overboard, I think what you are saying is right, there are albums that do fall into multiple genres, Either of the two options you thought of sound good (1)we could could easily 'tag' them with 2-3 genre options. 2)Or duplicate the album into 2-3 different categories.), you could pick whichever is easier for you to do! Duplicating the album into multiple categories would be good :)
Thanks mate.. appreciate your help so far :)
