Guide me on a Creative DTS

Hi Rah,
there are more and more Creative DTSs all the time. The one in Perth is a first for them but should be a good one. Also, if you really want to get serious about your music ministry, they have a School of Music in Missions starting in January which will help you a lot. If those don't work out for you.... hang on... I think some good things are going to be coming to India in the way of music ministry training. Keep watching this site for info on it. And.... don't feel like you may miss something if you do a regular DTS somewhere. Music and worship is BIG in YWAM everywhere. Once you've done your DTS there are a lot of things you could do.

hi,
i could suggest an amazing creative dts for you. it's here in ålesund, norway. it only runs once a year because it is a 9 month school. but we have a music, film, dance, and fine arts tracks. :)

You forgot YWAM Worcester - South Africa...
They are running the Troubadour DTS with focus on creative arts, starting April 2, 2010 with a soccer world cup outreach in June/July.

Thank you Friends for your suggestions and guidance, This has greatly helped me in knowing where all the creative arts DTS bases are.
Does anyone of you know anything about this DTS in New Zealand http://www.kingskids.co.nz/pages/CAP%20DTS ?

Haven't heard of this school - it looks kind of cool!.. Auckland's OK, but New Zealand itself is one of the most beautiful places in the world. I've been there 5 times.. went there for our honeymoon. Much different to India :)

New Zealand is also one of my favourite places in the world, It's much different from India but actually it's same as the place where I'm from, the place I was born , that is Kashmir, Kashmir used to be an Independent country but then it got occupied by three different countries and India was one of them, It has been in war ever since and war is the reason why we had to leave our home in Kashmir but our Lord carried us through and has always taken care of my family.
Kashmir is actually a valley surrounded by mountains and snow and lakes, It's really beautiful, We miss our home a lot!
I like the DTS they are having in Auckland but my family has doubts as Auckland seems to be a place associated with a lot of violence. I just pray that only His will be done.

hey, i know this comes really late in the game cos I haven't been on this site for ages, but I work in Ålesund Norway at the creative DTS base here as Caleb mentioned... It's an awesome school, but we are also multiplying the school to start in India this Sept 2010 :) it's going to be awesome and they need students.. We have had four staff from there here this year in order for them to learn/train how to lead a 9month creative DTS. You can check out creativedts.in for more info. They are great great people who will be leading and it will be an honor to go there... Let us know what you land on ;) Eleanor

p.s. I come from Auckland, NZ and though I don't live there anymore, I think I could still say it's a relatively safe place to live -especially if you're comparing to other places in the world :) You just need to hear from the Lord where you should go. He will protect you :)

Thank you for your reply,
I have already applied to the creative dts in India, actually it was quite an answer to my prayers, I was unable to go to the school in New zealand because it would not be possible for me financially, so I waited a day or two and then I went back to the ywam website for searching a creative dts and I was amazed to see a creative dts happening in India for the first time! It was so amazing, to have a dts in India would mean very less expenditure compared to going abroad, and yet I would be able to attend the school.
As far as I know Twinkle will be the base director, as Liz and Steve have already left India I think.
I am praying that I may be able to go to this school, please do pray for me.
